This is a great lesson in helping us to go from getting started to really kicking it into gear. How do we get a team around us? Do we really need a team or can we do it ourselves? There are so many pieces/moving parts to being a successful author that most authors who fail, do so, not because they aren't a good author, not because they don't have a great topic, but because they do not have the right systems, the right tools, the right network/team. We learned that we often set out to do the ideal and end up doing nothing, and that it's so much easier to move the direction of a moving car than one that is standing still. You can go through this lesson on your own, but best to go through it with three other committed people and/or authors where we start to come together with an understanding of how we can accomplish so much more together than we ever could on our own.
