Order Survey

In your purchase agreement you will specify if you want a survey of the property and who will pay for this. A survey is a drawing to show where your home (and any other structures) are located on the property you are buying.  Many title companies no longer require surveys.  If a survey is required in your purchase agreement your realtor will order the survey and provide a copy to you and the title company.
