7 Week Course

What is the core issue for most challenges/problems a company/organization faces?

It’s weak culture and/or values!

Often leaders want to put their team members through some surface level class which teaches values but team members don’t see the same values in their leaders.

It’s teaching one thing and doing something else. This lesson is easily taught but hard to practice. Add in the different personality types and now we have even more complexity.  For example, think about the company that says this: “We value and practice honesty.”

What is honesty?  Each personality type will view honesty in a very different way.  The analytic will be the tightest in this area and often feel that, in marketing, we should share our flaws with our clients.  Probably a little extreme, but maybe not truer than we think.

With the Driver personality type they will look at honesty in the big picture and feel they  don’t need to give all the details, only the big picture.  If some of the details aren’t perfect it is probably not a big deal and we have not violated our value of honesty.  

With the Expressive personality honesty may not be sharing what the data shows to be true but what they expressive knows will be true in the future.  What’s interesting is that this will drive the analytic crazy and they will think the expressive person lacks integrity/honesty . . . and the expressive, at times is actually correct and the analytic was not honest because they could not see the future.

 

The analytic will still feel they are correct though and will take past data to reveal they were honest
and the expressive was not. The expressive, could, if they cared about the data, which they often do not, take the most recent data and show that they were more honest and had greater integrity than the analytic personality.

The Amiable personality’s perspective on honesty is often the most interesting.  They believe that we should be honest as long as it doesn’t hurt someone’s feelings or cause conflict.  When the Driver applies the value of “honesty” the amiable will often switch values to consideration, professionalism, being kind or something and say “The Driver doesn’t possess those values.”  

If we have so many challenges with something as “simple” as honesty it’s clear that we need a lot of training, mentoring, and working through all our values, based on people’s personality, experience, and perspectives.  

If all the above isn’t confusing and challenging enough every team will have their share of Cameleon personalities.  This is the person who will shift what seems to be their values depending on the situation.  At times they will take the analytic, other times the driver, at times the expressive, and at times the amiable.  Where they land on any given day is anyone guess, often their own.

Vision . . . what is Vision?  

How do we become a visionary leader?  

How do we help those around us to expand their vision for themselves and our entire team?

Vision Is . . . “Seeing what others do not see and understanding how to put together the right team to achieve that vision.”

The best visionaries are those individuals who possess skills in all four personality types and value the skills of others in everyone coming together to achieve greater success than they ever could on their own.

Learning how to discover our own Life Vision is the first step and then helping others to discover their Life Vision and  their purpose for being on this planet.  

In Stephen Covey’s “The 8th Habit” he shares about “Finding our own voice” and helping those around us find theirs.

Do we as leaders have the integrity not only to discover our own Life Vision but also to help those around us discover theirs?

As leaders, we discover very quickly those things we are passionate about are often NOT what those around us are passionate about.  

When we connect our passions with the passions of those around us, we start to see something new, SOMETHING THAT MOST LEADERS ONLY DREAM OF.

We start to realize that Integrity Leadership is our willingness to help each and everyone around us have the same opportunity for success that we have.

Having a vision is more than just SEEing what others do not see.  Vision is SEEing the very core of each individual and UNDERSTANDing what Natural Laws are needed to achieve the vision that has been put in their heart.

 

As human beings, we live each and every moment due to the systems in our own body.  We have a circulatory system.  Our brain works on a system, our heart, our skin . . . really everything within us functions on a system.

The Solar System functions based on a system.  

We come to see our Life Vision, the vision of our organization and the vision of each of those individuals in our lives all function based on a series of Natural Laws.  These Natural Laws, when all brought together form what we call a Business Operating System or BOS.

If we as leaders do not have a system in place to take our Vision and make it a reality we will either never see our Vision realized or maybe . . . we don’t have a large enough vision.

There are two ways someone can go through this course.  An individual can become a certified instructor of the course and build the entire system or an individual may go through the course and obtain a certificate.  

Often a leader will invest the time, energy, passion, money and resources needed to become certified and will become so passionate about Integrity Leadership that they will inclined to lead everyone in their team, their family, their network through this course.

Within Integrity Leadership we will be introduced to the DNA for
Understand People,
i.e. Personality Masteries.  

Various personality types will view the world from a very different vantage point.  When these are not understood the desired culture will not permeate all of the members of the team.  Certain members because of personality types will not pick up the core values.  The vision will be missing important ingredients and beliefs and knowledge will not be be in alignment.  

 

Within Integrity Leadership you will learn key aspects of the 5/30 Grid which many refer to as the DNA for Understand Business.

The third part of BOS is Natural Laws.  Natural Laws are not created by human beings but discovered.  Individuals and teams who best understand and follow the natural laws have greater than those who don’t understand or follow them.

There are over 200 Natural Laws which have been discovered.  Natural Laws are really the DNA for understanding success both individually as well as within a team.

Many of these Natural Laws are integrated throughout the entire “Integrity Leadership” training series and make this program so successful.  It’s not based on people’s opinions, experience, or on technology which can change over time.  It is based on laws of the universe which will never change.

Napoleon Hill shares that “Thoughts” are “Things” and when people learn to think in a different way their actions will soon follow.

Here’s an interesting question that one of the Integrity Leadership mastermind groups are currently working over . . . “Can every problem in the world be solved as a result of people learning to think in a different way?”

If the RESULTS you individually and your team receive in your lives are largely due to the actions you take and the actions you take are a result of HOW YOU THINK . . . then it would seem to stand to reason that if you change how you THINK, YOUR ACTIONS WILL CHANGE.  That, in turn,  will  change the RESULTS you get.

 

Hmmmm, that’s something to think about!

If you learn to have your thinking based on Natural Laws governing the universe then the odds are in your favor you will see some amazing success.

When you drill deeper into BOS you find that there are not only three major big picture areas but also another three system areas which will not only empower you to achieve our team’s vision but will also give us the ability to assist every employee, every customer, every vendor . . . “ Yes, when you think about it, every human being you come in contact with. ”  

Henry Ford said “If you believe you can or believe you can not, either way you are right.”  

This is very similar to what Napoleon Hill shared, “Whatever the mind can conceive and believe it can achieve.”  

Integrity Leadership, at its deepest level is really about understanding the amazing potential that everyone single person in the world, “Yes, all seven billion plus people.” have and that we have the power, influence, gifts, talents to influence them all if we will just conceive and believe it.

Walmart understands this at a deep level.  Everyone of their vendors follows a certain system which connects into Walmart's overall system.

When we help others, and we have an amazing BOS ourselves and willingly share that with others . . . As the tide rises all the ships in that port will rise together.

When we look at young children, for the most part they are not givers they are takers.  What does everyone in the world think they want more than anything else . . . from a toddler in a room with 1,000 toys and one other toddler to a grandfather who is 95 years old?

People want what they can’t have.

Through Natural Laws we are able to understand the wisdom of the ages in why GIVING to others actually sets us FREE from the curse of being owned by financial or material things.  

We are so often blind and don’t even understand that we’re blind.  It is only through the deep understanding and application of Natural Laws that we SEE the TRUTH.

The time to start thinking about our legacy . . . is actually right now.

The sooner we start to think about our legacy the greater it will be and the the sooner we’ll gain perspective as to what life is really about.  It is about making a difference in the lives of others.  

Change - It’s weak culture and/or values!

As we learn more about personalities and how they impact us and others around us we will start to realize how to best discover where we may want our legacy to be.

It seems that everyone desires the same thing as a legacy “We desire to make a difference.”  How each individual does that will largely depend on that individual’s personality.  

To move to The NEXT Dimension we need to learn to have the disciplines to give up what we believe we most want to gain what we really want.

When can never give something that we do not first have ourselves.  Once we discover our own life vision we then are in a position to help others discover theirs.  As more people around us discover their own life vision and we connect those visions together based on uniques passions we will see far greater success together than we ever could on our own.

The larger the legacy we desire the better we will be required to do in all other five areas within Integrity Leadership.

The larger the legacy we desire the more individuals we need to help.  As we help others the more they will help us.

Together we can accomplish so much more than we ever could on our own.

When we have a powerful BOS - Business Operating System we will see our legacy to be much stronger.  Integrating our Legacy directly into the DNA of our entire BOS will produce amazing results.

 


Our legacy when you think about it is the thing that lasts on far beyond ourselves.  It really shares with future generations as to how we were and what really mattered to us.  

Do you have any prospects or clients who are cynics or critics?  

Are their any employees who seem to have a negative view on a lot of things and are the first ones to say “That won’t work?”

In this lesson we learn, from a children’s movie, on what it takes to go back to the days when we had dreams, believed everything was possible, and there were no such things as limitations.
