Email To Connect With Chamber
Purpose:
Bring value to the chamber/association to help their members and grow your business and those within the chamber/association all at the same time.

Overview:
Would you like to partner with a Chamber in bringing value to their members, helping them to Retain current members, Recruit new members, and Restore past members?  Chambers and Associations are very powerful organizations to partner / work with as they can help you a great deal in your business as you bring added value to their members and to the association overall.

The following is an actual email, used by businesses around the country, to introduce the concept to a chamber and to open the doors for further conversations.

IMPORTANT NOTE:  Most businesses do not have the staffing resources to build this type of business so many will contract with VA's Virtual Assistants who are certified through Life Masteries Institute to do all the work for you.  Will save a great deal of time and help to produce results much faster.  http://thevisionproject.net/ VAs.htm

Body
Hi xxxxxx,
My name is xxxx and I am being coached by a company who have helped in building a system for bringing  Chamber  members added value.

The system actually consists of helping  Chamber  members grow their business, reduce the hours they work, reduce their stress, and improve life balance. This is accomplished through the proper use of technology and media.

It assists  Chambers  to retain members, recruit additional members and restore past members. From my understanding of the system, there is no cost to the  Chamber  for this is administered through a non-profit organization.

When I talked to xxxxx-names of current  chamber  members-xxxxx and shared with them some of the things the member benefit program would help members with, they mentioned that we should connect with you.

I don't know if the program would help you as it has helped other  Chambers , but I thought it would be worth a fifteen minute phone conversation with the President of coaching/consulting company who has helped to build the system to see if it might be beneficial to you and your members.

My associate, GingerAnne, can be reached at  630-440-7719  to coordinate a phone appointment if there is interest in having a short discussion.
Sincerely,

Thanks,
GingerAnne

Questions to ask the President of the Chamber

Body
1. Could you tell me a little about yourself, the chamber, and some of your goals as President of the chamber?

2. If someone where to help you in Retaining Current Members do you have any ideas on how someone maybe be able to best assist there?

3. If someone were to help you in Recruiting New Members do you have any thoughts on how someone could best assist you in that area?

4. What would you say the biggest challenge you feel your members might be facing right now?

5. What would you say the biggest challenge your leadership team in the chamber and/or staff might be facing right now?

6. What would you say the biggest challenge you might be facing with all the things you've got going on right now?

7. Is there any other questions we should have asked that we did not ask and/or any additional information that we do not know that maybe we should?

NOTE:  Depending on the time, mood, flow, etc. it would be ideal to ask the four shapes and the pain quadrant testing as well.  Leaders tend to really enjoy that and believe it's great for their members and are drawn in strongly.
