Get your family and friends involved. Believe it or not . . . the difference between success in owning your own E-VA firm / Distributorship actually may be not only "IF" you watch the movie but how close you pay attention to what others do not normally notice.

? ? ? Questions ? ? ?
The biggest challenges in getting any business started are usually: 1. What do I really want to do? 2. How do I earn money in the short term so I can make it it into the long term?
These are great questions actually. The biggest demand (fastest way to earn money) for most VA's - Virtual Assistants is usually in the area of making phone calls / talking with people. It is also one of the easiest to get trained on and start generating income for your company.
Many individuals will start out in this area and then add training and expertise in other areas which help them to do more enjoyable things and make a lot more money. It's your company :-), you get to choose what you do, when and with whom you do business.
The bottom line for every VA / Distributor / Partner is to help other businesses to grow as well as to assist the owner in getting their business to run without them. Each of the following functions can actually do both.
|
Area 1: Marketing
Assist
Businesses in Generating
MORE and BETTER Leads - Work in this area consists of helping companies build powerful and profitable databases, organizing those databases and then developing and delivering a message. This area also writes marketing copy, can do design, layout, web development, TV, radio or really anything that deals with getting the message of a business / organization out to the masses of people.
People who are good with details, creative, strong listeners, are great with observing people can be very successful with a heavy emphasis in this area.
Area 2: Pre-Sales
Help Businesses Take Their Leads and Convert Them Into Sales - Pre-Sales is often where one can start earning money in the fastest time with the least amount of training. Pre-Sales takes the leads from Area 1: Marketing and helps to educate, inform and bring them closer to the sale. Much of the work in this area is done over the phone. If you like talking with people, are kind, patient and enjoy helping people to understand new and exciting things about themselves and their business you will enjoy the work your company and preform in this area.
This area is not only a popular area but there is a ton of demand as most companies have "Sales People" but not pre-sales. When a business is educated about the power of Pre-Sales they are excited to contract with your company to help them grow their company. |
Area 3: The Sale
Close Leads! - Sales is an art as much as it is a science. Most people "don't like sales people, would never want to be a sales person and most don't think they would be good in this area. Actually . . . this area is probably the hardest of all areas to master. If one becomes successful in this area you will have an unlimited amount of business opportunities for growing your business.
If you are the type of person that likes a lot of excitement, has big goals and is willing to push the limits this type of work might be the perfect match for you.
Area 4: Servicing
Turn Servicing Into A Profit Center - Providing a RAVING FAN servicing experience is one of the most powerful ways to grow one's business. Unfortunately most companies do not have the training, mentoring and tools that we have available to use as VA's. Box 12: Feed Successes back into Areas 1, 2 and 3 is a great example. We as a VA are able to do what no employee could probably ever do and specifically capture their successes. Once those successes are captured then we feed those successes back into marketing to produce more and better leads, convert more prospects into clients, generate more referrals from clients and create clients for life.
If you like to help people, tend to be patient, nurturing and supportive of people servicing might be just right down your line. |
