"I'd have to say that the FAST TRACK training program is the best so far that I've been exposed to from an employer. With the organized structure and focus, combined with many cutting-edge techniques and overall professionalism, Fast Track has really made and is still making a big difference in my life as a fairly new loan officer. I really needed the structure to get started. The coaching and scripts are great!"

“While I had extensive experience in sales and marketing, I had NO idea about the products/services I would be selling and providing. It's hard to connect to and get excited about something you are not familiar with. The FAST TRACK training system gave me a good base to start from. I got a FEEL for the arena and FACTS about the game so I didn't feel like I was being FED to the lions!"

1. Can you tell me a little bit about your employment background? I have been a stay-at-home mom for 8 years, and before that, I was a health insurance underwriter Do you have any experience in the lending business? Not at all! I've been at Advent since the end of July, 2002.
2. What have you found to be the most helpful aspect of the Fast Track system?
Definitely the quizzes and the course material. The pace is very nice, and it is divided up and laid out very well. It's easy to read--not boring.
3. You've been getting really good scores on your quizzes. What's your secret?
Well, I study the quizzes really hard. After the first one, I gained a better understanding of what was expected, and I study a lot.
4. What's one way that Fast Track has prepared you for the challenges you're about to face as a loan processor?
It gives me a really good overview of all the different situations that could come up.
5. What advice would you have for someone just getting into the mortgage industry? I definitely think that before they take the course, they should spend some time as an assistant. Fast Track makes more sense and has a clearer context after you've been an assistant, which makes it much easier to understand.

Mark, I just want to thank you for providing my company with a very powerful tool in Fast Track Training. I recently hired a new loan originator that had no mortgage background at all. In three weekly sessions, we were able to review the information via the quizzes after she had studied the modules on her own at home. She took and passed the Illinois Residential Mortgage Originator test in that short amount of time. My understanding is that only 40% of the people taking that test, pass on the first try. I give the credit of her success to the Fast Track Training program. It also freed me up to do other recruiting, management and originating. I will definitely be using this method for all of my new hires.
