Tracking Progress

What is the big picture of where I am in my personal training and development?  Tracking our progress is one of the most important aspects of getting off to a great start and then seeing success throughout our entire journey.

This is one aspect which individuals seem to have a real challenge so please make sure that you keep up on this.  When we finish a training lesson we should do to things:
   A. We should ALWAYS (email) Manage / Communicate Up/Out three things.
       1. What did I learn?
       2. What action will I take from what I learn?
       3. What do I need to learn next?
   B. Go to the "Tracking Progress" document and log that I finished up a training video / exercise.

Tracking Time

In the book, Good To Great by Jim Collins he talks about successful companies having Disciplined People, Disciplined Thinkers and Disciplined (3D's) in Taking Action.  When we are disciplined in small things we build our discipline muscles, so to speak, and are able to be disciplined in some of the larger things.

As the 3D's become stronger we will see greater success in all areas of our lives.  Tracking our billable and non billable time throughout the day is key to our success.  We MUST track our time closely to be accurate and fair to each one of our clients. Email your mentor to request your own Time Spreadsheet to begin tracking your training hours.
